Terms and Conditions
1. About Us
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by Ace DJs, a mobile disco and entertainment service operating in the United Kingdom.
By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Bookings
2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once we have received confirmation in writing (email or booking form) and any required deposit.
2.2 The person making the booking ("the Client") must be 18 years of age and authorised to enter into this agreement.
3. Payments
3.1 A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking date.
3.2 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 We reserve the right to cancel a booking if full payment is not received by the agreed date.
4. Cancellations
4.1 If the Client cancels the booking, the deposit will not be refunded.
4.2 Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may be charged up to the full booking fee.
4.3 In the unlikely event that we have to cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will:
- Provide a suitable replacement DJ where possible, or
- Refund all payments made, including the deposit.
No further liability will be accepted.
5. Event Details and Client Responsibilities
5.1 The Client must ensure:
- Safe and suitable access to the venue
- Adequate space and power supply for equipment
- That the venue allows amplified music and DJ equipment
5.2 We must be informed in advance of any restrictions, sound limiters, or venue rules that may affect the performance.
6. Set-Up and Performance
6.1 We typically require 1 hour prior to the performance to start time for set-upand sound checks.
6.2 Performance times agreed at booking must be adhered to. Additional time may be available at an agreed cost.
7. Equipment and Safety
7.1 All equipment remains the property of Ace DJs.
7.2 The Client is responsible for ensuring guests do not interfere with or damage equipment.
7.3 Any damage caused by guests or venue staff may be charged to the Client.
8. Behaviour and Right to Terminate
8.1 We reserve the right to terminate or suspend the performance if:
- We experience abuse, threats, or unsafe behaviour
- Equipment or DJ safety is compromised
- Illegal activity occurs
8.2 No liability will be accepted for termination under these terms.
9. Music requests
9.1 We will make every effort to accommodate music requests but cannot guarantee availability of specific songs or genres.
9.2 We reserve the right to refuse requests that are offensive, inappropriate, or contrary to the events agreed style.
10. Liability
10.1 We hold appropriate public liability insurance.
10.2 We will not be liable for:
- Loss or damage caused by venue power failure
- Venue sound limiters or restrictions
- Circumstances boyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
11. Photography and Promotion
11.1 With the Client's permission, photos or videos during the event may be used for promotional purposes, including our website and social media.
11.2 The Client may opt out of this by notifying us in writing prior to the event.
12. Data Protection
12.1 Any personal information provided will be used solely for the purposes of managing the booking and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law.

13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
